Dahua and Dacland Unveil Westwood’s Masterplan
In preparation for the first Westwood land release in just a few weeks’ time, Dahua Group and Dacland have offered an exclusive sneak peek into the Masterplan of Plumpton’s newest, most exciting community.
With community-conscious design and planning at its forefront, the Westwood masterplan has many exciting features that will offer residents a unique and enviable lifestyle.
The Walk is a 1.2km beautifully landscaped corridor spanning the length of the community and linking large open spaces for active recreation within one minute of every resident’s front doorstep. It will provide safe pedestrian passage to the community parks, school and facilities.
The masterplan encourages lifelong learning with the proposed P-12 school, ensuring young minds are nurtured, as well as a range of early learning and adult education options to be offered by the proposed community centre. Dacland Planning and Design Director, Jonathon Fetterplace, believes the masterplan is well suited to buyers.
“We have designed the Westwood community to foster active living and provide a pleasant walking environment that encourages residents to get outdoors. Westwood residents will have multiple opportunities to get active in the community via a network of walking and cycling paths connected to parks, the major sporting reserve and proposed aquatic centre,” said Jonathan.
“We have used intelligent design to connect our residents with a large landscaped corridor, that sits within one minute of resident’s homes. Our community design gives priority to pedestrians, which means safer more connected neighbourhoods.”
